How to Maintain Furniture

In order to remove the traces on the surface of furniture caused by air pollutants, cooking fumes, dirt during operation and residues during polishing, it is suggested to use special furniture detergents. This solvent can also help remove the excess wax and be erased together without any other adverse reactions.

Waxing
In addition to regular dust removal, the surface of wooden furniture sometimes needs to be further maintained by wax to increase the aesthetic feeling of the appearance.

Water mark treatment
Water marks usually take a while to disappear. If it is still visible a month later, wipe the water marks along the wood grain with a clean soft cloth coated with a small amount of salad oil or mayonnaise. Or wet cloth can be used to cover the mark, and then carefully press the wet cloth several times with an electric iron, the mark can be desalinated.

Ironing treatment
Use a dry, ultra-fine furniture coated special steel wool mat to wipe along the direction of the wood grain directly at the scald; you can also use salad oil or mayonnaise to coat the scald, take the soft cloth along the wood grain gently wipe, and then change a clean soft cloth to wipe it clean. Finally, shine. Cigarette butts or matches that have not been extinguished leave scorching marks on the paint surface of furniture. If the paint surface is burned, you can wrap a layer of fine grain hard cloth on the match rod or toothpick, wipe the marks gently, and then apply a layer of thin wax, the scorching marks can be diluted.

Burn mark treatment
Cigarette ends or unburned matches leave scorch marks on the paint surface of furniture. If the paint surface is burnt, a fine-grained hard cloth can be wrapped on the matchstick or toothpick, and traces can be gently wiped, and then coated with a thin wax, the scorch marks can be diluted.

Scraping treatment
If the furniture lacquer is scratches and does not touch the painted wood, it can be applied to the wound surface with the same crayon or pigment as the furniture color, so as to cover the exposed background color, and then apply a transparent nail polish to a thin layer.
